The worship of Sri Raghunath Ji Maharaj is conducted in accordance with the age-old traditions of Kashmiri Shaivism. Worship begins early in the morning with a ritual aarti (prayer) and darsan (devotional looking). During the aarti, Raghunath Ji is offered flowers, chandan (sandalwood paste), agarbattis (incense sticks), and deepaks (lamps). Prasad is distributed after aarti. During the darsan, devotional songs are sung in praise of Raghunath Ji Maharaj.An offering of various delicacies is made to the deity as an act of devotion, and devotees offer money as sikva.
