The Founding History of Lyndhurst Gospel Assembly began in 1924 when the original church was known as “Bethel Gospel Hall.” The location of the church was at 437 Valley Brook Avenue in Lyndhurst. The first building for the church was built in 1929. In 1941, it was re-established as “Lyndhurst Gospel Assembly” and was relocated to its presentaddress of 436 Valley Brook Avenue. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Jamaica.
