First Holiness Church Of The Holiness Faith Lucky Hill In Jamaica: History,Facts, & Services
History:
The congregation was formed in 1924 by founding pastor, the Rev. Joel E. Hodges, and 10 other families. The first building was an old barn that was used as a place of worship. The current church building was dedicated in 1945, and renovations have been ongoing since then. The church currently has an active membership of over 200 people, and holds services every Sunday. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Jamaica.

The church is the only active Holiness church in the southeast and is recognized nationally by the Church of God of America. It is also member of the National Holiness Association (NHA) and the National Association of Holiness Pentecostal Churches (NAHPC).
Services:
The church provides spiritual and emotional guidance to its members and outreach to the larger community. It also offers religious classes, worship services, and outreach activities. The church also sponsors youth programs such as youth meetings, Bible studies, and other activities. Additionally, it provides a popular annual summer camp, Camp Clapping Hands, which is open to the public.This beautiful church in Jamaica has made a lot of significance in the past.
