Bethesda Gospel Hall is a Christian fellowship based in Bethesda, Maryland. It was founded in 1948 by brothers Sam and Herbert Dix. The Dix Brothers served as pastors of Bethesda Gospel Hall for more than 65 years until their retirements in 2018. It is one of the best churches in Jamaica which you must visit.

History:

Sam and Herbert Dix, who were originally from Easton, Pennsylvania, moved to Bethesda in 1948 and began holding services in their home. Later, the meetings moved to a local schoolhouse, and Bethesda Gospel Hall was formed in 1952. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Jamaica.
