Gandhi fortress & temple in Survey no.106 is a beautiful Hindu temple located in Survey Number 106 at the foot of the Bombay Point in the Thane district of Maharashtra, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and the fortress is the main attraction here. This ancient structure is believed to have been built by Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj in 1664 when he came to Thane for war and healing. History:
The fort has two ancillary temples dedicated to Lord Rama and Hanuman.
