It is affiliated with the World Council of Churches and is a full member of the Latin American Council of Churches. The church's mission is to preach the gospel, lead people to Jesus Christ, offer pastoral care, and be socially active in Honduras. It also has a strong emphasis on education, with it running 24 primary schools and five higher-education academies. It also provides various humanitarian projects, such as providing food, clothing, and other resources to those in need.
