Alpha Community Church was initially established as a small Bible Study in the home of Patriarch Alfonso Martinez. During the first few years, the small fellowship grew in numbers which eventually led to weekly services being held in borrowed spaces. As the church’s mission and ministries began to take shape, Pastor Alfonso Lopez began overseeing the day-to-day operations of the church in 2006. Under the leadership of Pastor Alfonso Lopez, the church was able to purchase a vehicle and build a permanent meeting space. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Honduras.
