The method of worship at Gugga Jahar Peer temple is similar to most Hinduism temples. Devotees first enter the temple, take a bath or wash their hands and feet with the holy water near the temple. Then, they proceed to offer their prayers by ringing the bell, lighting the diya (oil lamp) and offering flowers. Following this, they perform the arti (worship offering) by clapping their hands and singing praises to Lord Gugga Ji. After that, the priests perform the puja (ritual worship) by offering incense, agarbatti (incense stick) and candles. The devotees then recite the mantras of Lord Gugga Ji and bow down to him in reverence. At the end of the ceremony, prasad (sacred food offering) is distributed among the devotees.
