San Giuseppe alla Lungara is a Catholic parish church located in Rome, Italy. The main entrance is located on Via della Lungara, close to the Vatican City. The church was built in 1738 and is dedicated to St. Joseph, the patron saint of the Universal Church. Its construction was commissioned by Pope Clement XI. The interior is enriched with frescoes by the Sicilian painter Giuseppe Cesari, and the sculptures of the nuptial altar are works of Giuseppe Mazzuoli. The church also contains a statue of St. Joseph holding the infant Jesus, named Santo Bambino di San Giuseppe, one of the oldest and most revered statues of Rome. The church services include Mass (in Latin, Italian, and other languages), confessions and catechesis. The parish also runs a kindergarten located in the building across the street from the church.
