La Casa de Cristo was originally established as an English language mission plant of the Wisconsin Synod in 1966. The Wisconsin Synod eventually merged with the LCMS in 1977, and La Casa de Cristo continues as an active congregation of the LCMS. La Casa de Cristo has grown significantly since its establishment, moving to multiple locations before finally settling at its 6-acre campus in Scottsdale in 1998.
