Evergreen was originally known as the Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church but was later changed to its current name in 1972.  Under the leadership of Reverend Malachi Miller, Evergreen began as the first mission of the newly formed Georgia Missionary Baptists Association. Through the years, Evergreen has faithfully served its local community with strong Christian leadership.
