History:
In 1892, a small Sunday school class met for the first time at the home of Mr. W.B. Everett in San Pedro. Together with Reverend O.B. Snyder, a member of the Southern Baptist Church, they decided to form the San Pedro Evangelical Church. The church’s first building was made of wood and located on 3rd Street between Grand and Mesquit in San Pedro. The building was later moved to 4th Street and Grand Avenue and a new building was constructed in its place. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Dominican Republic.

The church offers a variety of services including Sunday School, Children’s Church, Youth Group, Bible study and small groups, prayer meetings, music ministry, Vacation Bible School, and mission trips. Community outreach activities are also an important part of the church’s mission. The church hosts the San Pedro Community Outreach Program which serves the needy with food, clothing, and support.This beautiful church in Dominican Republic has made a lot of significance in the past.
