Iglesia católica Saint Stanislaus Church is a Catholic Church located in San Antonio, Texas, USA. It is part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Antonio. The church is known as the “Mother of All Churches” due to the fact that it is the oldest standing church in city, with a history dating back to the mid-1800s. The church was founded in 1863 by Spainish and Mexican immigrants, and was originally named St. Stanislaus Church. The current building was constructed in 1875 and still contains some of its original architecture, including its iconic Baroque facade. The exterior and interior of the church is distinctly European, designed by noted Spanish and Mexican architects. It is one of the best churches in Dominican Republic which you must visit.

History:

 Iglesia católica Saint Stanislaus Church was built in 1875 by Spanish and Mexican immigrants in homage to the Roman Catholic Patron of Poland, St. Stanislaus. The original sanctuary was reconstructed over the years and rededicated in 1912. The current interior was designed and built in 1983 with a combination of Baroque and Mexican artwork. In 1994, the church was designated as a San Antonio Historic Landmark. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Dominican Republic.
