History:
The history of Catholic Church El LLano began in 1951, when a group of Mexican families living in El Llano attended a parish located five miles away. They decided to build a church of their own, and in 15 days the mission of El Llano was erected and blessed. Through the years, the congregation has made many improvements to the parish, including a new bell tower that stands today. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Dominican Republic.
