St. Joseph Church in Czechia is a historic baroque church located in the city of Brno in Moravia, Czech Republic. It was built between 1718 and 1735 by Eusebius Wirch and Karel Blašej Santini-Aichel in the style of high baroque. It served as a Jesuit college, and has been a parish church since the abolition of the Jesuit order in the 18th century. It is one of the best churches in Czechia which you must visit.

History:

The church was founded in 1717 when the Jesuit Order was expelled from the city of Brno by the Austrian Emperor, Joseph I. The Jesuit Order had previously built a college and a building connected to the church. The church was originally intended to serve the Jesuit college and was one of the first buildings built in the High Baroque style in the area.
