From here, you can take a direct train to the Yingxian Railway Station located 3 km (1.8 miles) from the temple. If you’re traveling by train from Beijing, you can take an overnight train from Beijing South Railway Station to Taiyuan Railway Station. From here, you will need to take a bus to Yingxian and then transfer to a local bus to Shuanglin Town. The nearest high speed railway station to Shuanglin Temple is the Yingxian North Railway Station located 16 km (9.9 miles) away. If you’re traveling by car, there are three routes you can take: the G18 Expressway, the G45 Expressway, and the G15 Expressway. The fastest route from Beijing is by G18 Expressway and then G15 Expressway which will take around 5-6 hours.
