History:
is said to date back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) in China. It is located in Huankou Town in the suburb of Wenzhou City. It is an active Buddhist temple and a great tourist attraction, consisting of five levels and nine halls and pavilions. The courtyard contains various sculptures and statues, such as the four Heavenly Kings, standing guard at the gate and statues of the Goddess of Mercy, Kwan Yin. Worship Method:
Lingyanshan Temple in China is a Buddhist temple located in Xianyang, Shaanxi Province. The temple follows the traditional Chinese method of worship found in most Chinese temples. Worshipers enter the temple through the main entrance, known as the guangxian, and proceed to the innermost sanctuary, which houses the statues of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Deities. After paying respects to the deities in the innermost sanctuary, worshipers can move on to the other chambers, where they may make offerings, meditate, and practice chanting and mantras. At the end of the visit, worshipers may purchase special products such as incense, oils, incense sticks, flowers, and candles.
