The worship method of Baoshan Temple in China is to offer flowers, candles, incense, and prayers of gratitude and compassion. It is also common to offer foods to the Sangha (monks and nuns) and to invite relatives and friends to enjoy the Dharma discourse. A common practice is to kneel in front of the statues of Sakyamuni and the Buddhas, and then to offer three prostrations and authentic reverence by folding one's hands.
