History:

The PCC was founded by Scottish missionaries in 1894 as they sought to spread Christianity and the Scottish Presbyterian tradition in Cameroon. Through the missionaries' efforts, the church grew rapidly in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and by 1930 the PCC had grown to include more than 7,000 members. Throughout its history, the PCC has had a strong relationship with the Scottish missionary society, and has received support from missionaries and benefactors in Scotland and beyond. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Cameroon.
