Ta Keo is a five-tiered Hindu temple in the shape of a pyramid, dedicated to the god Shiva. The temple’s towers rise prominently across the Angkor plain. The exterior of Ta Keo features over 200 intricate carved apsara dancers, the serene face of Shiva in its central tower, and many linga depictions among bas-reliefs on many doorways, windows, and doorframes.
