St. Ann Cathedral, Gagnoa is a Roman Catholic church located in Gagnoa, Ivory Coast. It was built in the late 19th century. Its architecture combines Moorish and Baroque styles and it has been designated as a national monument by the Ivorian Ministry of Culture. It is one of the best churches in Côte d'Ivoire which you must visit.

History:

 St. Ann Cathedral, Gagnoa was built in 1896 by French missionaries and funded by the local community. The original design of the building was by French architect Prosper Touze. However, it was later extensively remodelled with the addition of an entresol and window frames causing the building to take on its current Moorish-Baroque style. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Côte d'Ivoire.
