Paroisse de Kossou is a Roman Catholic Parish in the Ivory Coast. It was founded in 1958 by missionary priests and sisters. The parish serves 11 villages in the Diocese of Grand-Bassam, and is located in the village of Kossou, located at the junction of the Bandama and Kossou Rivers. The Parish is staffed by a team of priests, sisters and lay personnel, who strive to provide the local population with comprehensive spiritual and physical aid. The Parish Activities range from providing education and healthcare to providing agricultural, pastoral and spiritual advice. The Parish also plays an important role in the local economy, providing employment to over 200 people. Parish members are involved in the fight against poverty and they offer basic goods and services such as food, clothing and medical care.
