Mission Évangélique Apostolique de Côte D'ivoire (MEACI) is a Christian evangelical mission that works for the evangelization of the Ivory Coast. The mission was founded in 2004, by Reverend Gaston Dossou Mahougnon, who serves as the mission's president. Through its work, MEACI seeks to share the message of Jesus Christ throughout the Ivory Coast, reaching both the Catholic and Protestant communities in the country.
MEACI works through preaching, teaching, and counseling. The mission has more than 30 centers operating in the country, and is supported by local and international partners. Its activities include Bible studies, lectures, and seminars. Additionally, MEACI provides help to those in need of training, nutrition, and education.
The mission seeks to build bridges between the faiths of its target communities, unifying them through a common faith in Jesus Christ. MEACI believes that the Ivory Coast can only develop fully if it preserves the spiritual diversity of its people. By finding common ground among faith, MEACI hopes to make a positive impact on the Ivory Coast's social and economic welfare.
