History:
The original St. Peter Chapel was built in 1855 as a mission station for German Catholics who had recently arrived in Milwaukee. The building was destroyed in a fire in 1870 and was replaced with the present-day chapel in 1874. The chapel has undergone several renovations since then and remains an important part of the Milwaukee Catholic community. St. Peter Chapel This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Burkina Faso.
