History:

Christ Community Church In Brazil was founded in 1980, when American missionaries Jim and Jeannie Peterson responded to a call from the Brazilian Christians —— a desire to build spiritual and practical bridges between the militant student movement, civil rights feminist, and labor struggles —— in the city of Belo Horizonte. The vision of the Church expresses the mission of reconciliation with God, creation, kingdom, and community. Services are held in English and Portuguese, and CCC offers a variety of ministries, including a music ministry, youth and young adult ministries, interpersonal ministries, retreats and seminars, clubs, and outreach activities.
