Saint Peter Church In Belgium is a Roman Catholic parish church located in the centre of Antwerp, Belgium. It is dedicated to Saint Peter the Apostle, and is one of the oldest churches in the city. It was built in 1517-1521 in the late Gothic style and holds significant historical and cultural importance.

History:
The church was constructed in the late 15th century but its exact date of foundation is unknown. In 1517, the church received approval from the city council of Antwerp and construction began in 1521. The church was completed in 1526, and became the only parish church in the city at the time. From 1575 onwards, the Jansenist movement was supported by the people of Antwerp and many prominent members of the movement lived and worked in the area near the church. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Belgium.

Saint Peter is 95 feet long, 80 feet wide, and 62 feet high. It has two towers, one of 108 feet tall and the other of 88 feet tall. The church building also includes a chapel dedicated to Saint Barbara, the patron saint of miners and firefighters, as well as a baptistry and cemetery.
