History: Sant Bartomeu de Lòria is first mentioned in 1313 in a document of the Bishopric of Urgell. This document mentioned that the churches of Sant Bartomeu de Lòria and the neighboring village of Erts belonged to the same parish and were jointly managed by the monks of the Monastery of La Frontera. The area was historically part of the kingdom of Aragon and was annexed by Andorra in 1802, becoming the commune of Lòria.
