The main form of worship at the Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Temple in Vemulawada is known as "the Kaumara Prapada Vrata". This form of worship involves chants and a symbolic offering in which devotees offer flowers, fruits, milk, curd, sesame, coconut, and camphor. Devotees also light lamps and incense and perform a pradakshina (circumambulation) around the temple to offer prayers to the deity. They also offer pooja (ritual offering of fruits, flowers, and incense) to the main idol of Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy and perform his daily puja ceremony.
