In Mahamrityunjay Temple, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, the traditional worship method involves chanting of the Mahamrityunjay mantra 108 times followed by an offering of flowers, lighting of incense and lamps, and aarti. Prayers and homa are also conducted using ghee in the havan kunda. On special occasions like Shivratri, larger yagnas are conducted with the chanting of the Rudra and Mahamrityunjay mantras.
