The Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at Mangalagiri in Andhra Pradesh is one of the famous Vaishnava temples in the Indian subcontinent. This temple is very unique in its worship method. The worship process involves offering flowers to Lord Narasimha and reciting mantras dedicated to him, and sometimes performing abhishekam, or bathing the deity with milk and other sacred liquids. After the abhishekam, devotees perform pradakshina, or a circumbulation of the temple, followed by an aarati, or a offering of lamps.
