The Dashmivarda Mata Temple in Himachal Pradesh is a sacred pilgrimage site for the devotees of the Hindu Goddess Dashmivarda Mata. The temple is located at Piyunni Nagri which is at a distance of around 25 kilometres from Palampur in Kangra District. The temple is believed to be thousands of years old and is said to have been built during the 3rd century BC. The temple is dedicated to the Goddess Dashmivarda Mata who is believed to be an incarnation of Goddess Durga. The main shrine of the temple is devoted to the Goddess Dashmivarda Mata who is enshrined as a black stone (Kali Kaliva). She is flanked by the two Shakti Peethas of Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu on both sides, symbolizing the triad of the Hindu Trinity. The temple attracts pilgrims throughout the year from all parts of the world.
