The worship method at Chintpurni Temple in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh is mainly centered around the murti (idol) of Maa Chintpurni. Worshipers first perform aarti, a ceremony honoring a deity that involve burning incense and chanting mantras. They then light a diya (lamp) and offer flowers and Prasad (holy offerings) to Maa Chintpurni. Afterwards, devotees are invited to seek Maa Chintpurni's blessings by touching Her feet and presenting prayers and wishes for themselves, family, and all of humanity. Offerings of jaggery, chana, peanuts, and other sweets are made to seek Her blessings. An Akhand Jyoti is also lit in the temple and kept burning throughout the day.
