Horror Story of El Cuartel de la Boca del Monte, San Jose
Once upon a time, there was a remote village located deep in the mountains of San Jose known as El Cuartel de la Boca del Monte. The villagers of the village lived peacefully and happily, though they were always warned by their parents and elders to stay away from the old military fortress that sat on a nearby hill.
Despite the warnings, some of the youngest and bravest of the village would sneak out at night and dare each other to enter the fortress. Whenever anyone were brave enough to attempt it, none of them would ever come back. Over time, the fortress became a taboo subject and the villagers stopped discussing it.
One night, a brave young man decided to enter the fortress and find out what was inside. To his surprise, the fortress was no longer desolate, as it had been taken over by a vengeful group of soldiers hell-bent on punishing the villagers for ignoring their warnings.
The young man soon learnt that the soldiers had been using the fortress as a hub of all sorts of horrible activities. They had established a secret prison, where they tortured and killed anyone who dared to enter the fortress.
Unable to handle the atrocities he saw, the brave young man ran back to the village to warn everyone about the dangerous fortress. The villagers immediately rallied together and, with the help of a few brave warriors, launched a daring attack on the fortress. After a short but fierce battle, the evil soldiers were defeated and the fortress was finally put to rest.
From then on, El Cuartel de la Boca del Monte became a place of legend and caution. Villagers warned their children to stay away from the fortress, and tales of the brave warriors who had saved the village were told around the fireside for generations to come.
