The High Schloss of Reinbek
The legend of Schloss Reinbek tells a tale of a castle shrouded in mystery and terror, located somewhere in the misty woods and hills of Reinbek, Germany.
Once upon a time, Schloss Reinbek was home to the Baroness Harzfeldt and her family. Though they were wealthy and well respected within the village, the Baroness had a dark secret. Inside the walls of the castle, she conducted terrifying experiments on the unsuspecting people who she lured to the castle, believing that she could unlock the secrets of death and immortality.
The poor villagers soon realized what was happening and began to fear and shun Schloss Reinbek. Rumors began to spread that anyone who was taken in by the Baroness never returned from the castle alive.
Shadows began to flicker around the castle late at night. People in the village claimed to hear the screams of trapped victims, wailing in agony. No one dared enter the castle out of fear that they too may never see the light of day again.
The Baroness was never seen leaving Schloss Reinbek and only her occasional laughter broke the silence of the dark fortress. Those brave enough to venture close enough to the castle heard the laughter and knew that something dark and sinister lay inside its walls.
To this day, Schloss Reinbek stands in the misty woods, silent and empty. Nobody knows what secrets may lurk inside its walls. But no matter how many years go by, the people of Reinbek will never forget the fearful story of Schloss Reinbek and the Baroness Harzfeldt.
