The cabin was filled with ancient artifacts including a few books with strange symbols on them. The students noticed a strange smell, an overwhelming aroma of decay. Worried, they left the cabin and started heading back the way they had come, only to find themselves lost in the woods.
The students soon found themselves pursued by a menacing force that seemed intent on destroying them. Terrified and exhausted, they ran until they happened upon a clearing near the edge of the forest. To their shock, the clearing was filled with the ghosts of the people whose deaths had cursed the land so long ago.
The students soon realized that the spirits were bound to the land forever, doomed to haunt the forest until their demands were met. If the students wanted to make it out alive, they had to pass three tests - prove their loyalty, bravery and intelligence - or else be condemned to a fate worse than death: eternally haunted by these angry spirits!
