ParishMooste Manor, located in the parish of Mooste in Estonia, is a Baroque style manor house which dates to the 17th century. It was originally owned by the von Tiesenhausen family, who leased the manor to many noble families over the years, including the Witting family and the Manteuffel family. In the 19th century, it was owned by the von Berg family, who undertook a major renovation of the manor. In 1903, the manor was bought by Baron Gustav Adolph von Berg, a lawyer and businessman. He restored and enlarged the manor and also built a large park. In 1917, the manor was acquired by Ludvig-Ernst von Berg, who continued to maintain and embellish the manor and park.During the Soviet occupation of Estonia, the manor was confiscated and used as a residence for Communist Party officials. In 1993, the manor was returned to its original owners, and the von Berg family have since undertaken major restoration to the manor.
