The district administration, however, has decided to revive the celebration this year. The festival was first launched in 1985 and was a massive hit.

This year's festival will be held at the historic Soneri Mahal, which is located on the campus of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University in the Aurangabad district.

Purvarang, a pre-festival event, will be held at the Sant Eknath Rang Mandir in Osmanpura, Aurangabad, on February 12 to get ready for the main cultural celebration. The events leading up to the festival will feature live performances by well-known Marathi musicians. Renowned musicians will perform not only in Marathi but also in Hindi and Sufi.

There will also be performances by a number of well-known artists from all over the world, as well as from all over the country. You really should go to this festival if you like traditional folk music.
